It also introduces a new weapon type, the glaive, which will have both melee and short-range attacks as well as defensive capabilities. There are also four planned seasons of content to be released throughout the year. The first season of Year 5 titled Season of the Risen, will be available alongside the expansion at launch.

Gameplay

The gameplay for Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is really fun. The gameplay is just like the regular game and the missions are fun to complete. There is a lot of replayability for the missions and the enemies. You can also play with other people in multiplayer and get really competitive. The multiplayer of Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is four-star. Savathûn's Lucent Brood, Hive warriors that carry the power of Light, will be a new major enemy within The Witch Queen. They will have similar Light-focused abilities within the Arc, Solar, and Void classes as the players' Guardian characters as well as their own Ghosts that can resurrect them unless the Guardians can destroy the Ghost within a limited window.
