Pokemon Scarlet review

Pokémon Scarlet is the latest installment of the ever-popular Pokémon franchise, and it’s coming to Nintendo Switch. Developed by Game Freak and published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo, the game is the first of its kind, allowing for a first-person viewpoint for its players. Exciting new features, vibrant graphics, and an expansive open world await those who traverse the world of Scarlet, and the game is sure to be a unique and enjoyable experience. 

Exploring the Gameworld

Players of Pokémon Scarlet will find themselves in a world unlike any other, with vast areas to explore, including both urban and open-world locations. There are no borders between the two, unlike other RPGs, making for truly novel wanderings for players. There are also three routes to choose from, and objectives can be done in any order desired. Helping players with their travel are the two new legendary Pokémon, Koraidon and Miraidon, both of whom can traverse the environment and make journeys more manageable. 

Let's Go and Co-Op Play 

A brand-new feature that has been introduced with Pokémon Scarlet is the Let’s Go mechanic. Players can send out a Pokémon to roam the overworld and automatically battle wild Pokémon with ease. Co-op play is also included, with up to four players being able to join forces to explore the game’s environment. 

Two New Starters and Graphics 

Pokémon Scarlet introduces two new starters, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, to help players on their journey. Furthermore, the game’s graphics are much better than its predecessors and make use of the latest technologies to create an immersive experience. Players can look forward to a variety of vibrant colors and detailed textures to help them enjoy their virtual travels.
